Monday will be Day 14. Please note that Periods 2 and 4 are switched for Monday. Kinderstart Registration Parents/Guardians of children who will reach age 4 by December 31st, 2010, are asked to note that KinderStart registration for September 2010 will take place on Tuesday, March 16th. Registration will take place from 9am- 2pm and parents/guardians are asked to bring their child’s MCP card and Birth Certificate. Yearbook Orders Yearbook orders are due at the school on March 31st, 2010. The cost is 25$ per book and they will be made available before the end of the year. Kinderstart Session Please be advised that our next Kinderstart session will take place on Thursday, March 18th. Congratulations!!! to the Junior Boys Basketball Team who will be participating in the Winter Games which will be held in Grand Falls from March 20th-29th. Any questions can be forwarded to Ms. Withers at the Guidance Office. High school students who are interested in attending a post secondary institution, after the successful completion of grade 12, are asked to view the following websites: www.SchoolFinder.com and www.ScholarshipsCanada.com . These websites list many universities and colleges and numerous scholarships that are available. If students require help navigating through these websites they can contact the Guidance Office. |
Stepping Stones Information Mondays Program Day: This session is open for children and families ages birth to 6 years old. Program changes every 4 - 6 weeks Morning Session: 9:30 - 11:30 Afternoon Session: 1:00 - 3:00 Wednesdays Morning Session: 9:30 - 11:30 Family Drop In Play: The informal drop in and play offers opportunities to meet each other parents in a relaxed setting while interacting with your child in different learning areas. Afternoon Session: 1:00 - 3:00 Leap Into Learning: This is our school readiness program for our 4 year olds. All sessions are free of charge. For more information please call Serena at (709) 227 - 1010 Allergy Information Every September we have to update our allergy information. Therefore it is very important that you notify the school of any allergies that you child(ren) may have. Please complete an 'Allergy Information Form' and return to the main office as soon as possible. This has to be completed even if you submitted a form last year as new forms must be completed every September. There are students and staff members who attend SCA who have severe, life threatening allergies to the items listed below. These items are therefore prohibited at all times at our school: E-Mail List Contact Mr. Emberley at donemberley@esdnl.ca and request to be added to the school's e-mail list! This will allow you to receive various announcements, monthly newsletters, etc. directly from the school via e-mail!
